Cut Me Deep

you cut me deep with those words you said
you should have thought before it left your head
words can hurt more than you know
sometimes words you say can show
words are like knives to the soul
your words have taken their toll
some are always there
I don't find that fair
you apologize for what you say
just to say worse the next day
I’ve had enough
my life is already tough
I don't need my so called friend to bring me down
you always have ways of making me frown
I’m tired of it
I’m getting out of my pit
I want no more hurt from you
you cut me deep, it's true
