A Puppy

A puppy so cute
Who never makes me cry
I love him so much
Without him
I
Would
Die

A puppy so young
Full of energy and youth
A young thing so innocent
Someone who’ll always
Tell
The
Truth

A puppy so happy
Makes me smile each day,
Laughs and giggles
Easy to see
When
We
Play

A puppy so soft
Furry and warm
Cuddles and kisses
Keeping me safe
Through
A
Storm

A puppy so energized
Yet graceful and at ease
Happy with his family
And loving to
Play
And
Tease

A puppy so alive
Running with floppy ears
Pouncing and smiling
Keeping us safe
Through
The
Years

A puppy so comforting
Always there through fears
Knowing just what to do
And knowing how to
Dry
Our
Tears

I love him so much
Without him I wouldn’t survive –
I’d surely drown in sadistic tears
I surely would
No
Longer
Strive
