Clear Blue Tears
Her eyes are wet;
Clear blue tears
Fall from her eyes
She has amazing fears
But she can’t hide
From all that haunt her
Dreams and her mind
Invaded thoughts
Uninvited memories
All has caught her
She suffocates sometimes
Reaching out for life
Searching for breath
Dreaming for happiness
Trying to wash away
All of her strife
And the grief
That pours her heart
With sadness and pain
Something like
Falling somewhere
Falling in the rain
Wet cheeks
From her clear blue tears
Fighting all
That’s thrown in her way
And yet, falling into her hole
And is nothing but a stray
Climbing to the top
Seeing a ray of light
Something is thrown at her
Something dark and horrid
She falls back down
And she sits in her hole
Crying her clear blue tears
Wishing someone would come along
With a long rope
To pull her out of her pain
To pull her out of her agony
And to pull her out of her pool
Of clear blue tears
That she cried and cried
And saved every last drop
To drown the man
Who gave her this much pain
She’s running out of tears to cry
So she prayed
For someone to come along
To help to ease her pain
Then it happened
Something so sudden
Someone came along
With a rope and with care
With the most tender touch
In the world
Helped this girl
Out of her pool
Of clear blue tears
And sought to see
The man who hurt her
And gave her pain
To drown him in her pool
Of clear blue tears
And she was left
With this lovely person
And with
A happy smile
And the memory
Of Life
Of Love
Of warmth
And of her
The special person
Who gave her all she needed
The girl
With the hurt before
Never had to cry
Clear blue tears
Ever again
