Everlasting Rain

So alone
In the dark's gloom
No where to turn
In this scary, dark, empty room

I hold myself
And rock back and forth
Not knowing what’s coming next
Not knowing how much life is worth

Feeling cold
Almost feeling dead
Feeling really numb
With this feeling, I am wed

Seeing spooky shadows
Prancing all around
I’m lurking in the dark
With these creatures I’ve found

I’m trying to hide
And block out the pain
But I finally give up
And I fall in the everlasting rain
