Crystal Tears

Crystal tears,
Carve rivers through me.
Penetrating my soul.
Way too inmost for you to see.

They pour forth through my veins,
Reeking havoc on my dispirited soul,
Cause me powerlessness and anguish,
Which I cannot control.

They try to struggle out of me and emerge,
As fresh tears in a flood down my face,
To be unleashed from within,
Out of the inner turmoil and obscure place.

Ah, but one thing restrains it from,
Compelling me to let go,
The will to live on,
Through pain and sorrow.

Let me be unbound,
By the desolation,
And be freed,
By the power of determination.
