-Shiver-

In the reflection of the mirror
I see everything so clear
The slip of every tear
Leaves a pool across the glass
How come nothing ever lasts?
Oh but something does....
All the pain that ever was
Sears itself into your life,
With a cut from the deepest knife,
The one so misunderstood,
I doubt anyone ever would
Truly understand
How anyone will and can
Take the power in their hands
To control their own demands,
Try to kill the pain,
I slowly go insane
Trying to find a cause,
To look through my many flaws
And find something good....
I don’t know how I could.
